For industries where milliseconds matter, sending data to the cloud for processing is no longer an option. Lenovo’s ThinkEdge Gen 2 systems bring AI computation directly to the edge, eliminating latency and dependency on unstable networks. The lineup—SE10n Gen 2, SE30n Gen 2, SE60n Gen 2, and the SE50a all-in-one panel PC—represents a leap forward in edge computing, with processors capable of handling complex AI tasks locally.
The SE60n Gen 2 stands out as the flagship, equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 265H, Ultra 5 235H, or Ultra 5 125H processors, paired with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory running at 5600MT/s. This configuration enables up to 97 TOPS of AI performance, making it ideal for applications like multi-camera vision systems, predictive maintenance, and autonomous operations. Its fanless design ensures reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C, while a 12–36V DC power input accommodates diverse industrial environments.
Memory and storage options vary across the lineup to match different workloads. The SE30n Gen 2 supports up to 48GB of DDR5 memory, while the SE50a all-in-one panel PC maxes out at 32GB, both at 4800MHz. Storage flexibility includes M.2 NVMe slots for high-speed data access, with optional SATA expansions for bulk storage needs.
Connectivity is a priority, with all models featuring Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless flexibility. The SE60n Gen 2 and SE30n Gen 2 include 2.5G Ethernet ports for stable wired connections, while the SE50a introduces USB-C for versatile peripheral support. The SE10n Gen 2, designed for basic edge analytics, retains essential connectivity with Wi-Fi 6, 2.5G LAN, and industrial-grade serial ports.
Security and longevity are built in. TPM 2.0 chips safeguard data integrity, and Lenovo Device Orchestration provides centralized management for large-scale deployments. The systems support Ubuntu Server, Windows 11 IoT LTSC, and cloud platforms like AWS and RHEL, ensuring compatibility with existing enterprise infrastructures.
The SE30n and SE60n models will begin shipping in April 2026, with the SE10n Gen 2 following in July. Pricing starts at $899 for the SE10n Gen 2, scaling up based on processor and memory configurations. Lenovo’s ThinkEdge Gen 2 is not just an upgrade—it’s a redefinition of edge computing, bringing AI processing power to the front lines where it’s needed most.
