Sunday, April 19th 2026 This Week in Gaming (Week 17) by TheLostSwede Today, 06:07 Discuss (0 ) Welcome to another week of April and this week's major release is from an industry legend that has both major hits and major flops behind him, with his latest game taking place in the world of Fable. As for the rest of this week's release, we kick off on the same theme as last week, but with some farming action instead of cat knights. This is followed by cards and vampires, a flooded world that isn't Waterworld, a reimagined cold-war that went hot and finally we end the week with some Sci-Fi action on Venus. We've also included a few more games that didn't quite make this week's list. Masters of Albion / Early access / This week's major release / Wednesday 22 April A bold reimagining of the God Game genre from the creator who defined it. Shape a living world as a god - or step into it and experience it through your people. Build, guide and defend your town by day, then survive the night when everything is under threat. There is no single solution. Only yours. Steam link Typing Farmer / Monday 20 April Welcome to Typing Farmer! This desktop idle healing game will make a corner of your screen a cozy farm. Your daily actions—typing and clicking—automatically foster crop growth, attract cute animals to play with you. Let the healing charm of adorable creatures infuse your intense workdays. Steam link Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors / Tuesday 21 April Deal world-ending combos and blitz through infested dungeons! Vampire Crawlers: the turbo wildcard from Vampire Survivors is a casual, turn‑based deckbuilder with roguelite elements. Master the Turboturn with your own hand of cards. Steam link Tides of Tomorrow / Wednesday 22 April As a Tidewalker, you will explore a strange world that will look, feel, and react differently depending on the Story-Link you choose. As a deadly disease called Plastemia threatens to kill all living things, you must steel yourself to face the numerous challenges of a world on the brink of collapse. Steam link '83 / Early access / Thursday 23 April '83 is a 40v40 squad based, objective focused online tactical first person shooter set in a Cold-War-Gone-Hot scenario. It's designed with 'accessible realism' for the most enjoyable, but still hardcore experience that gets you to the action fast, without losing the lethality of war. Steam link Project Vesperi / Friday 24 April Project Vesperi is a branching narrative sci-fi game where you play as Doctor Evelyn Roth, sent to investigate a potential sign of life on Venus. When an intruder threatens the only habitable station on the planet, your choices will shape the fate of those around you—and humanity itself.
