MelGeek has entered the gaming mouse market with the Horus, a lightweight esports-focused peripheral that leverages its expertise in high-integration keyboard hardware. Unlike conventional wireless mice that compromise polling rates under interference, Horus delivers true 8000Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes, thanks to the company’s proprietary NullSync technology.
The mouse’s core lies in the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, a flagship optical module capable of 20,000 FPS scan rates and 2,000 surface images per second. This ensures razor-sharp tracking for high-speed flicks and micro-adjustments, critical for competitive play. The sensor is paired with a Nordic NRF54L microcontroller built on a 22nm process, optimizing power efficiency while handling the data demands of extreme polling rates.
Performance isn’t just about specs—Horus weighs 49g and features a 50:50 balanced weight distribution, minimizing sensor misalignment during rapid movements. The design avoids aggressive shell perforation, maintaining rigidity without sacrificing ergonomics.
With 0.20ms wireless latency and 0.25ms wired under controlled conditions, Horus positions itself as a direct competitor to premium esports mice. Its arrival follows MelGeek’s recent breakthroughs, including the transparent MOJO keyboard and the Centauri, which integrated an OLED display into a gaming board—a first in the industry.
While pricing hasn’t been disclosed, Horus reflects MelGeek’s shift toward performance-driven peripherals, blending cutting-edge sensor tech with wireless precision.
