The Razer Viper V4 Pro is no longer just a rumor—it’s now confirmed by professional gamers. During a recent Valorant tournament livestream, top player Canezerra revealed he was using the mouse, while other pros and League of Legends competitor Myrwn have also been seen with the device. This follows earlier leaks, including a camouflaged version spotted at a Valorant Champions Tour event in December.

The Viper V4 Pro is set to succeed the Viper V3 Pro, released in April 2024, and will likely share key hardware with Razer’s DeathAdder V4 Pro, which launched in July 2025. That means the new mouse could feature a dome receiver, Nordic 54-series MCU, Gen-4 Razer Optical Mouse switches, and a Razer Focus Pro 45K Gen 2 sensor. Weight reductions and minor design tweaks, such as a new coating and refined shape, are also expected.

Based on Razer’s release cadence, the Viper V4 Pro is likely to arrive in late spring or early summer 2026.

  • Design: Symmetrical, lightweight, with a new coating and refined shape
  • Sensor: Razer Focus Pro 45K Gen 2 (12,000 DPI max)
  • Switches: Gen-4 Razer Optical Mouse switches
  • Receiver: Dome-based (shared with DeathAdder V4 Pro)
  • MCU: Nordic 54-series
  • Weight: Slightly reduced compared to Viper V3 Pro

The Viper V4 Pro’s internals suggest a focus on precision and responsiveness, making it a strong candidate for competitive FPS players. The symmetrical design retains the ergonomic appeal of the Viper series, while the new sensor and switches could improve tracking accuracy and click performance. If Razer sticks to its typical release schedule, the mouse should hit shelves within the next few months.
